Location
Amano Las Vegas is a gem of an Italian restaurant in the Northwest Las Vegas Valley that was introduced to me by a neighbor. If you live in the northwest you know that our culinary options are not as celebrated as other parts of town. However; Amano has given me hope that there are amazing restaurants in this neck of the woods.
First of all, whenever we hear about a great place in our neck of the woods, we immediately want to try it out. When we arrived at this slightly hidden strip mall location we were a little skeptical. To our surprise, we were met with a line out the door and a waitlist. For us, the line out the door meant that it was good enough for people to wait.
All the deliciousness!
A few weeks passed, and we found ourselves at Amano right in time for lunch. We timed it right this time! We were one of the first people in the door for lunch service. Upon entering, we were greeted by none other than Chef Jason Weber. Now, we didn’t know he was the chef and had I understood, and I would’ve probably asked way more questions about the menu than I did. Food connoisseur, I am not by any stretch of the imagination, so there were items on this menu that I had never heard of before. Namely Eggplant Rollatini, which was amazing and I will definitely be back for.
Have you ever had rosemary lemonade? Me either! But I must say, this lemonade is the best I’ve ever had. We tried a variety of items on Chef Jason’s menu and all of it was delicious! There is so much more on the menu that I will gladly be back for. http://amanolasvegas.com/menu/
