Las Vegas is the place to be this 2021 holiday season, with jaw-dropping decorations and events flooding the city for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are looking for a magnificent display, delicious entrees, or entertainment filled with holiday cheer — the Las Vegas holiday events have everything you need, and more.

December Events on Strip

Bellagio Conservatory

The Bellagio, without fail, lives up to its seasonal expectations every year. The December 2021 holiday theme is worth the wait and the Christmas exhibit will be showcased until January 1, 2022. When you visit the Bellagio Conservatory, you can expect to see a 42-foot-tall tree dazzled in ornaments, lights, and vibrant colors. And each garden bed will show its own unique seasonal highlight. Seeing this display is a holiday tradition for many Las Vegas locals, and this year definitely won’t disappoint.

Arias Winter Wonderland Display

A fun and flavorful display has been welcoming guests to the lobby of the ARIA since November 2021. All ages can be entertained by the ARIA Resort & Casino’s pastry chefs’ design, which took 200 hours to construct. Guests will walk in to see a giant snow globe with a 6 foot-tall gingerbread man inside, who happens to be made of 100 pounds of dark chocolate, tall trees, custom-made to appear as stacks of macaroons, surround the winter globe, and other holiday delights. Altogether, the exhibit needed more than 150 pounds of fondant, 600 pounds of sugar, and about 550 pounds of chocolate just to create the masterpiece. A must-see if you have a sweet tooth!

Cosmopolitan Ice Rinks

A small miracle happens every year at the Cosmopolitan when the Boulevard pool miraculously transfers into a 4,200 square-foot ice skating rink. Visit this spot for a romantic skating session for two, or for large groups looking to share an outdoor Winter experience. Imagine ice skating with magical views of the bright lights and the Strip! Sip a cocktail in between your skating laps, or some yummy hot chocolate. An exciting feature of this skating experience is the oversized fire pit sitting in the center of the rink to keep you warm and toasty while on the ice. WHAT?!

Local Las Vegas Holiday Events

The 2021 December holiday fun doesn’t stop at the strip. If you, like most locals, are trying your best to avoid the Strip, there are quite a few community events to keep your holiday cheer alive.

Enchant Christmas

Enchant Christmas is truly a magical event that was created this year. A world of Christmas wonder awaits at the Enchant light maze, located at the Las Vegas Ballpark. Here, you will be guided by an array of lights sparkling your path to help you find Santa’s nine lost reindeer. Enchant has named this experience “The Great Search.” You can also enjoy ice skating while surrounded by the sparkling lights, or explore the village filled with local treats and eats. Children can also meet and capture a special photo with Santa Clause.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory

If you crave sweet delights during this time of the year, then check out the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory offering premium chocolates and wine tasting, plus lots of lights. The perfect combination for a splendid holiday. Just outside the Factory is a three-acre cactus garden to walk through and enjoy. Plus, a garden gift shop to grab some more goodies on your way out.

Glittering Lights At The Speedway

Just when you thought there couldn’t be more lights, Nevada’s premiere drive-through light show takes the cake. Millions of dazzling lights are showcased at the Las Vegas Speedway, making it a truly magical experience. The Speedway glittering lights is a holiday tradition for locals, and s portion of the proceeds (from the tickets sold) are contributed to Speedway Children’s Charities, Employment for Southern Nevadans in need, and Boy Scout Troops.
