First of all, I recently had the opportunity to talk with Eddie and Julie Leverett of One Eleven. One Eleven is a design-build contracting firm here in Las Vegas. I was introduced to One Eleven by a local interior design firm who has worked with them on several projects, and I can see why.

The mission of Eddie and Julie Leverett is to allow people to stay in their homes no matter what life might throw at them. Mobility in the house is one vital component of the design philosophy that has driven the success of this company. Their dedication, drive, and attention to detail are amongst many of the other reasons they receive such high praise from clients.

Due to an injury that left him in a wheelchair for many months, Eddie is working from personal experience. Immobility, coupled with his desire to be self-sufficient was a jumping-off point when forming One Eleven.

The concept that this couple has created amazes me. The care compassion and sheer desire to give back accessibility to clients is such a unique perspective. Instead of leaving a home you love to find something to gain accessibility, make the house you love fit what your needs are. BRILLIANT!

Next up, my list of amazement with this couple is just getting started! They are partnering with #keepcraftalive. You may not know, but we have a shortage of qualified tradespeople across the nation. In Las Vegas maybe even more so where it seems as if the building is taking place on every corner. This movement is to engage young people to consider a profession in a trade. Not only can it be financially beneficial but can also be quite a satisfying career.

Call them!

Lastly, I am not doing justice to the care and concern Eddie and Julie have not only for our community as a whole but also to the trades community at large. In our industry, it is very difficult to find contractors who take their job as builders of your new reality quite as personally as they do. Trust me, if you have had a life-changing event that has limited your mobility in your home, call them. If you need a straightforward remodel, call them. If you are interested in getting into the home building trade, call them. You will not be disappointed!
